Located in the Coronado Ferry Landing, it’s a delicious taste of Mexican cuisine in Coronado. Take a seat on the patio, or inside the restaurant and get stunning views of San Diego Bay and downtown San Diego. Start the meal with guacamole, calamari strips, taquitos, Baja wings, and several other selections. Main dishes include a swordfish taco, a fajita plate, grilled carne asada, and more. There’s a kids’ menu, as well as a drink menu with margaritas, tequila, and other craft cocktails, as well as soft drinks. There is often live music during dinner service. Located in Coronado’s historic 1887 Boathouse, it’s the only restaurant on Glorietta Bay accessible by water. Choose from appetizers like calamari fritti, baked crab & artichoke dip, Maryland-style crab cakes, or grilled Spanish octopus. There is an extensive drink menu to choose from as well. Lil’ Piggy’s Bar-B-Q
Enjoy Memphis-style barbeque with all the fixin’s. Listen to blues music while you gaze out at views of San Diego Bay. Choose from starters like fried pickles, Texas brisket chili, or Memphis pork nachos. “Plates” are served with a side and white bread, and include meats like pulled pork, beef brisket, chicken, baby back ribs, and sausage. Sides include “po tater salad,” slaw, smoked mac salad, and more. Skip the meat and sides and go for a southern spin on mac ‘n’ cheese like “piggy mac” – mac and pulled pork, crispy onions, and BBQ sauce, or Mexi mac: mac and jalapeno cheddar sausage, jalapeno, cilantro, and BBQ crema. The Coronado Ferry Landing is ripe with dining options! For those looking for delicious pizza, the bayfront location offers a covered dining patio with views of downtown San Diego. Start the meal with mozzarella or zucchini sticks, meatball sliders, garlic knots, wings, or crinkle cut fries. Choose from a variety of hoagies and hero sandwiches like cheese steak or sausage parm or keep it light with a salad. Enjoy spaghetti, fettuccine, or lasagna, calzones, or come for the main attraction: the pizza. Choose from “red” pies like the Meathead, Works, or Islander – Canadian bacon, pineapple, red onion, and green bell pepper.
