The “Pass”, as locals refer to it, was created by a hurricane on September 27, 1848. A pirate, John Levique, made the first passage through the newly created pass. Hence the name, John’s Pass. This quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village is Pinellas County’s #1 tourist attraction. We are located on the south side of the pass at the John’s Pass Marina. With direct access to the Gulf of Mexico, you are only minutes away from some of the finest fishing spots that the Gulf of Mexico has to offer!
There are sandbars you can hang out on, restaurants to explore and offshore reefs to test your fishing abilities. We’re located right in the middle of it all! Come and see!
