Carefree Boats Club of Southern Connecticut’s Stamford location is in Stamford Harbor on the West Branch at Harbor Point North Marina. The marina is located off of Harbor Point Road in downtown Stamford.
Harbor Point, one of America’s largest private redevelopment projects, is home to, not only the Marina, but also restaurants, hotels, condos, and plenty more. When you’re not boating you can enjoy shopping at a variety of stores within Harbor Point and also enjoy a meal at one of the many award-winning restaurants. Stamford is a robust business district and serves as a NYC getaway for many people. There is plenty to do in this great city!
Harbor Point Marina is only minutes away from the Long Island Sound. Long Island Sound (LIS) is a saltwater tidal estuary that lies between the north shore of Long Island and Connecticut and New York. The LIS is 110 miles long and 21 miles at its widest point, with depths up to 230 feet. It is a great body of water for everything from water sports, to fishing, to just cruising around, and everything in between. There are a handful of small islands to visit just off the Connecticut shoreline, and the north shore of Long Island is only a 14 mile trip.
