Carefree Boat Club of Clermont is situated right in the center of the state, just minutes from Orlando. Located at the historic Cypress Cove Marina on Lake Minnehaha. The Clermont Chain of Lakes is made up of 11 pristine lakes connected by miles of canals and rivers. Enjoy picturesque shores that are lined by moss draped cypress trees. Most noteworthy, it is designated as an “Outstanding Florida Waterway”.
The lakes are a relaxing way to enjoy skiing, swimming, fishing and nature watching. Members can grab a waterfront lunch at Lilly’s on The Lake, while the kids swim at the white sand beach. If bending a rod is your idea of fun, the numerous sunken logs host fantastic bass fishing. The chain of lakes is a water sports paradise. Because the lakes are sheltered, you can always find a perfect place to wake surf, water ski or take the kids tubing. For those days, when you just want to relax on a boat ride, there are hours of shoreline to help you unwind.
Members can also access Waterfront Park Lake Louisa State Park and Lake Hiawatha from the water. From the restaurants to the water sports to the diversity of activities, the chain of lakes makes Carefree Boat Club of Clermont one of the most desirable boating clubs in all of Central Florida.
