The latest addition to the Supreme S lineup hardly resembles its successful predecessors. On top of delivering a design intent of more bang for less bucks, the S220 features higher freeboard, a hybrid bow shape, and a clean sheerline and hullsides that give it a solid, defined look on the water.
Equipped with Supreme’s EZ-V hull, which features 30 degrees of deadrise at the stem that tapers aft to 20 degrees at the transom, the S220 offers a smooth, comfortable ride in choppy waters, plus it creates clean, symmetrical wakes and waves. Add in the S220’s 4,400 pounds of internal ballast plus room for 14 on board, and the S220 produces wakes and waves that cater to beginners to advanced riders learning to perform a variety of tricks.

To help shape the wakes and waves, and give them a clean riding surface, Supreme employs the QuickSurf Pro system and the Stinger Wake Plate. The port and starboard QuickSurf Pro system creates lift opposite the surf side, displacing the surfside corner, creating a clean surfable wave every time. The Stinger Wake Plate trims up to create steepness and adjusts down to create a longer wave. Myriad setting adjustments allow the S220 to create a mellow, beginner-friendly wave, or a steeper one suited to advanced riders.
The S220’s Spradling vinyl upholstery features a 17-mil topcoat that offers comfort plus the ability to take a beating. Storage is abundant underneath all the seats, along with wakesurf board holders in the extended Bimini top and board racks on the towers.

Supreme’s OmniTouch 7-inch touchscreen is front and center at the helm, with easy-to-access menus for adjusting all systems. Analog toggle switches make it simple to control necessities, like the blower, bilge pump and lighting. The PCM 409 engine provided plenty of torque for getting on plane and burned an efficient 5.2 gph at wakesurf speeds.
Overall, the S220 is a solid, all-around watersports performer suited for those looking to buy a boat with room for 14. It has a sizable 70-gallon fuel capacity to ensure the fun lasts all day, and a length that’s easier to tow, store and maneuver than larger offerings.
